PUMA

While at Karlssonwilker I had the opportunity to work on the celebration of a classic Puma shoe, the ‘El Rey’. We designed three limited editions of the sneaker, sold and marketed worldwide.

In the first edition, Way-To-Go, the arrows indicate where to go (get it?). The second creation, we called ‘Story Time’, for which we wrote a short story about an Icelandic grandma for the left shoe, and a short story about a spaceman’s friendship with an ant for the right. The third version (my favorite) ‘Earthlings’ is peaceful at the tip, yet the heel is full of murder and deceit.
